Getting the Fayette County list

Fayette County's Master Commissioner posts past sales (case number, defendant, appraisal, purchase price) at faycom.info but no list of money it still holds; compare sale prices with the judgment in each case file, or ask the commissioner's office for proceeds held pending distribution. To claim, file a motion in the foreclosure case asking the circuit court to order the Master Commissioner to pay out the remaining proceeds; the commissioner cannot release money without a court order. Money unclaimed 1 to 5 years after it becomes payable goes to the Kentucky State Treasurer's unclaimed property program (KRS 393A.040).
